SEC Preview Part 2

VUCommodores.com talks with swimmers Laura Dillon and Chrissy Oberg in part two of our SEC Championships Preview.

The Vanderbilt swimming team will begin competition at the 2012 SEC Swimming & Diving Championships in Knoxville, Tenn., on Wednesday, February 15. The meet, held at the University of Tennessee's Allan Jones Aquatic Center, runs through Saturday, February 18.

To preview the meet, VUCommodores.com chatted with two Vanderbilt swimmers that have an excellent chance of reaching the finals.

Senior Laura Dillon is one of the only Commodores with experience in the evening session, having reached the finals of the 200 breaststroke as a sophomore and placing 14th.

Freshman Chrissy Oberg already holds two school records, establishing marks in the 100 and 200 yard backstroke during her rookie campaign.

The women's swimming & diving championships will air on a tape-delay basis on ESPNU on Tuesday, February 28, at 4:00 p.m. CT.
