NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The 14th-ranked Vanderbilt women's basketball team plays host to Southeastern Conference rival Auburn Sunday at 2 p.m. CT inside Memorial Gymnasium.

Head Coach Melanie Balcomb's Commodores (20-4, 6-3 SEC) are fresh off a bye week and ready for the home-stretch of five remaining regular season league contests.

Auburn (17-8, 4-5) hung tough with Tennessee in its mid-week contest, falling, 72-62, at home. The Tigers are 3-1 on the road in the SEC, with wins at Alabama, Florida and Mississippi State. Auburn's lone road SEC loss came at LSU.

Vanderbilt is 12-1 at home this season, including a pair of wins over ranked opponents and three conference victories. The Commodores' current stretch features four-of-five games at home.

As a team, Vanderbilt leads the SEC in five statistical categories: free throw percentage, field-goal percentage, three-point field-goal percentage, assists and rebounding defense. The Commodores are the nation's best three-point shooting team, behind the unmatched accuracy of senior Caroline Williams.

The Commodores set an NCAA record last Sunday, hitting 76.2 of their shots to break the national mark for highest single-game field-goal percentage.

Vanderbilt currently stands in fifth place in the SEC, one-half game back of Georgia and Ole Miss in the win column.
