Named First Team All-State, "Best of the Preps" by Memphis Commercial Appeal, "All-South" by Orlando (Fla.) Sentinel and Nashville Tennessean's "Dream Team"... Helped Spartans to 12-2 overall record in 2006 and 5A state semifinals... Achieved 178 total tackles, including 133 solo stops, four QB sacks and eight forced fumbles as a senior, earning Region 8-5A most outstanding player... Credited with 120 solo tackles as a standout junior... Earned four varsity football letters... An academic honor roll student, and member of the National Honor Society.
